General terms of sale

These terms govern the purchase of products through the online shop shop.bocadofoods.com. The shop sells and ships to mainland Spain only.

2. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law, in particular Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU), Law 7/1998 on General Contracting Conditions, Law 7/1996 on the Regulation of Retail Trade and Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).
3. Acceptance and changes
To make a purchase you must be of legal age and accept these terms during the checkout process. The terms in force at the time of the order will apply. We may change them at any time without affecting orders already placed. The contract is concluded in Spanish.
4. Purchase process
To buy, add products to the basket, enter your shipping and billing details, choose a payment method and confirm the order. Before confirming, you can review and correct your details and see the total amount. After the purchase you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, write to us at hola@bocadofoods.com or call +34 931 592 650. We keep the electronic order document on file and you can ask us for a copy.
If you register as a customer, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. From your customer area you can view your orders and update your details.
5. Products
Each product page shows the product’s essential characteristics, ingredients, allergens and nutrition information, according to its label. In the event of any discrepancy, the information on the packaging prevails. Photographs are for illustration purposes. Products are offered while stocks last.
6. Prices
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you confirm the order. When a product is on offer, the offer price and its validity period will be shown.
7. Shipping
- We ship to mainland Spain.
- Free shipping on orders of €45 or more. For smaller orders, shipping costs are shown in the cart before you confirm your order.
- Delivery time: 24-48 working hours from dispatch. Orders are prepared and shipped on working days.
If a product is unavailable, we will notify you by email and refund the amount paid without delay and, in any case, within 30 days.
8. Payment methods
- Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard), through Redsys’ secure payment gateway with 3D Secure authentication. Card details are entered directly in the bank’s gateway and we do not store them.
- PayPal.
All communication with the shop takes place over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). If a fraudulent or unauthorised charge has been made to your card, you can ask your bank to cancel it immediately.
9. Order cancellation
You can cancel your order as long as it has not been shipped. To do so, call us on +34 931 592 650 or email hola@bocadofoods.com with your order number. Orders are shipped on working days at 2 pm (CET).
10. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the products, without giving any reason.
Exceptions (Art. 103 TRLGDCU). The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, such as bread, rolls, baguettes, bagels, wraps, muffins and brownies.
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery.
For all other products (for example, baking mixes or pasta, with the packaging unopened), you can exercise your right of withdrawal by notifying us by email at hola@bocadofoods.com or using the form below. You must return the products within 14 days of your notification, unopened and in good condition. Return costs are borne by you.
We will refund the amount paid, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of being informed of your decision, using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products.

11. Defective products and guarantee
If you receive a product that is in poor condition, damaged or different from what you ordered, let us know as soon as possible at hola@bocadofoods.com, with a photo if possible. We will replace it or refund it at no cost to you. This right is independent of the right of withdrawal and of the legal guarantee of conformity granted to you by the TRLGDCU.
12. Customer service and complaints
You can contact us Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm and on Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm (CET), on +34 931 592 650 or at hola@bocadofoods.com. We will respond to complaints as quickly as possible and within one month at the latest.
Official complaint forms are available to consumers, which you can request by email or at our registered address.
13. Data protection
We process your data to manage your order, shipping, invoicing and after-sales service, in accordance with our Privacy policy. We will only send you commercial communications if you have given your consent or if they relate to products similar to those you have purchased, and you can always object.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, if you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
